In April 2011, Ease was asked by Eden Project to project manage the installation of a new large decking area within the Mediterranean Biome to fascilitate for up to 400 people. The scope was for a bespoke facility which would enable Eden to create a specific casual dining experience for day visitors, enhance their ability to cater for large conferences, events and weddings, and establish the Biome as a serious destination for performance and the arts.

Ease delivered this within an ambitious programme, opening the new facility in time for the Summer halfterm 2011, and to a very high specification, appointing skilled craftsmen and using the highest quality and sustainability acredited materials, such as the 560m of European oak.

Following the success of this project, Ease are looking forward to returning to the Mediterranean Biome in the Autumn to continue further improvement works.
