• Contributing to and co-ordinating feasibility studies
• Selection and appointment of project team members such as architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and other specialists as required by the project
• Establish project specific procurement strategies that reflect the clients aspirations for the project
• Programming all aspects of the project, both pre-construction and construction phases, as well as design, procurement, commissioning and other detailed elements of the project
• Co-ordinating, chairing and recording project and design meetings
• Commercial management of projects in tandem with the project quantity surveyors and the clients finance team, their accountants and funders
• Establishing sustainability targets and focusing the project team to ensure targets are delivered on site
• Undertaking specific project exercises such as risk management and value engineering
• Undertake the tendering process from preparation of documentation through the selection process to appointment of contractors
• Contract administration for both main contract elements and fit-out contractors
• Production of project related reports outlining progress for submission to the client board meeting or external parties such as funders
• Co-ordination of handover and occupation of the building
• Post contract works, correction of defects, final account negotiations and ensuring that the transition to occupation by the clients team is a smooth one
• Compile feedback reports to reflect on the delivery of the project for benefit on future projects.
